Check the time

DIY checkered shorts, my mother's blouse, vintage belt, vintage watch, K-mart sandals

I'm trying to add some nice bright summery colors into my wardrobe, so here you go! A pretty light blue top. It's got very thin shoulder pads, which I dislike, but my mom still wears this once in awhile so I'm not allowed to "destroy" it.
Yes, that's right, I've been going through my mother's closet again! I try to browse it at least semi-annually, because there are always new gems to find that I've missed before. Expect another post on the subject in the semi-near future- I found a lot of goodies.

I would convince her to let me take the pads out! They would bother me sooo much.

In response to your comment that's awesome that you play the guitar! You should post something sometime. And I am trying to learn how to play the ukulele. Trying is the key word though, haha. A good one costs around $150!

I agree with Danielle. The shoulder pads are not the best things in the world. You're so cute though. :)
