Let's try a little bit of florals... oh wait, I think we've done that a couple times.

I wore a cardigan with this, but it's not in the picture.. It was dark green. ..I think I wore it at least! :p I remember being really angry because I was out of clothes that didn't clash with my blue nails, it was icky.

Dress, Forever 21, ~$25
Necklace, Forever 21 a long time ago
Gold chains, from childhood, one is actually a necklace that is so small I could wrap it around my wrist twice and it was a pretty tight bracelet...

Not quite cold enough...

Don't laugh at me, I'm looking pretty rough here... ick. I wanted to wear this cardigan, but it was still pretty warm weather. So I just wore shorts with it.

I love how late I am. I leave for school at 8, actually 7:50 when I'm carpooling, which I was this day. My clock says 8:04. ...Although, the clocks in my room are fast. Both of my clocks are fast by different amounts, but I'm not exactly sure by how much. It helps me be on time more often.

Down here in the deep blue sea!

Can we all just agree that Spongebob Squarepants is - and always has been - the best show ever created?
If everyone was more like Spongebob... the world would be a better place. :D

Plus, he always dresses up nice with a little tie and everything. And we all know how much I love a guy who dresses nicely.

The best accessory...

HAIR
My hair has always been my favorite feature, I love styling it all the time. However, I don't have an hour every morning to spend doing my hair anymore (I seriously used to though) So braids have become my new best friend!
Sure, they can be little-kiddy sometimes. But you just have to do it right. I usually will do my natural hair + braided bangs to get them out of my way, and/or sometimes just a small random braid on the side (hippie-style if you will). Sometimes I do a classic french braid, which is great when your hair looks like crap and you've only got 10 minutes. :)

Lately fishtails have been really intriguing, but I didn't know how to do them until today. So expect that to show up in my hair in the next week or two. :p

And could someone explain to me what a "Dutch braid" is? I saw something about that when I was looking for pictures, but I've never heard of that!

Inspiration: Cold-weather style

{{Potd/2008-06-15 (en)}}

I'm in the middle of sewing this awesometastic hat right now
I can't wait to show it off to you guys :D
Unfortunately I can't even show a WIP pic [work in progress] since I have no camera this weekend

But I'm missing some materials that I need
Once I get them it'll probably only take an hour or two to finish! :D
It's so fantastic, you won't believe your eyes~

(Also, don't you love how I'm taking time out of my wonderfully busy birthday to a) sew a hat and b) post on my blog? Hahaha, I'm not doing anything for my b-day until later today so why not? :p)
For now, enjoy some more Inspiration pics: Fall/Winter style, since I like cold weather clothes better. :p

Oh no!

My dad left today for a trip - and took the camera with my memory card with him! Obviously, he did not mention this to me before he did so, and just waltzed on into my room while I was at school and took it!
I was seriously about to post up ALL the pictures I have thus far (which is a fair number) and then later this weekend I was going to catch up (recreate the outfits I wore so far that I didn't get the chance to photograph) but now I can do NEITHER! D:

But on the bright side ~ my birthday is tomorrow! Yay!! :)
I'm not doing anything special really, I'm "too old for parties" (is it possible? My mother thinks so. I however, disagree.) and I already did my birthday shopping over the summer hehe. But still, it's exciting! Because I'm a youngun compared to most of my friends.

liste de choses à faire:
1. Acheter un nouveau mascara
2. Finir mes devoirs :(
3. Coupe de cheveux
4. Coudre un chapeau
5. Dormir beaucoup
(Je suis tres tres bien a francais, n'est-ce pas? :p)
Gotta give me credit though, the only thing I looked up was "sew" :)

New Layout!!

What do you think?

New Feature: Cause of the Month

I am a member of Socialvibe.com - which is a site sort of like Myspace, but it helps you raise money for charity for free! It's really cool, and you should check it out. The way that it works is you put a "badge" on your blog, Myspace, Facebook, or any other website, and you get points every time some sees that badge. The points go towards a charity of your choice to get a donation! :)
(Let me know if you join and I'll be sure to add you as a friend! :D)

Anyways, there is a new feature on Blogger which allows you to put a gadget on your blog and have other people help you raise money! :D You just click on the gadget, watch a commercial (or I think you call them "adverts" in Europe, don't you?) and rate it afterwords. It takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes and makes a big difference!

This month, I have chosen charity: water as the cause of the month. Quote from their Socialvibe page:
charity: water is a non-profit providing safe clean drinking water to people in developing nations.
1 in 6 people on the planet don't have clean water to drink. Dirty water and a lack of basic sanitation kills 4,500 children every day. We're trying to change that.
Using photos and videos, we tell stories of people and communities that don't have clean water. We then offer simple ways to help. And 100% of the money we raise directly funds sustainable clean water projects in Africa, South Asia, and Central America. In less than two years, we have funded 633 water projects in 12 countires. Those projects will serve more than 250,000 people with clean water.

The reason I chose charity:water this month is because of their September campaign. For the past two years, in September, charity:water has asked everyone who has a September birthday to give up birthday gifts and instead ask for donations to charity:water.

My birthday is a September birthday, and while I'm not giving up all my gifts, I thought I'd ask you guys to help me celebrate my birthday with a donation! So please check out the gadget to the right of your screen, click on it, and help raise some funds! :D

More info on charity: water can be found at charitywater.org.

P.S. My goal is to donate 100,000 gallons of water by the end of the month! Please help! Come by a few times a day if you can!

Massive Apologies

I've been super super busy lately
I haven't had a chance to take pictures of all my outfits, either.
A lot of them I have, but a lot I haven't.
Probably I'll post them all in one big bulk in the next week. Or as many as I can.

Again, so so sorry!
