Wishful Thinking

A wishlist from Ruche - sorry my handwriting is a mess today! I'm a big fan of that buttondown tunic and those polka dotted shorts, but for now, I can only look. Such are the woes of the unemployed.

Missing the cool weather a bit

Even though it's really, really hot now! I kind of miss the cool weather, perfect for tights and sweaters. I started knitting a (hopefully) lovely gray scarf, my very first thing to knit. Today I've watched 8 episodes of LOST (...) while knitting it, but I still have a long way to go. I guess I'm just ready to prepare for the cold to come back again! But even so, I think I'll always prefer the warmer weather of summertime.
Today, I also dropped off one of the rolls of film from the beach last week, so be expecting that soon, as well as a ton of outfits from before school ended that are still on my memory card.

I just got back from the beach last night, and now I'm listening to old Cartel songs, snuggling with my kitties and eating cold tri-color bowtie pasta for breakfast. Looking forward to a summer of running, guitar, blogging, sewing and watching LOST on Netflix. I'm going to learn how to knit and do so while I'm watching LOST, I think.
For now, I'm going to go do my start of summer cleaning and then some father's day shopping!

I Don't Like Mondays

A couple things from I DONT LIKE MONDAYS that I wouldn't mind adding to my closet. I am in love with those cable knit shorts. I would wear those all the time! Unfortunately, they are $153, which is definitely not the kind of money I have to throw around. So for now, I must be content just to dream.

Summer is here, and I am spending my first week at the beach with Avery. I'm not sure how my internet connection/desire to even go on it will be while I am there, but after that I have very few plans and many many photos to share with you guys that I haven't had the chance to yet.
