A New Blog Name!

I've finally taken the plunge and changed my blog name! "Storm in a Teacup" is the new name and you can find it at
After two years with "Malicious Mallory" I did not take this decision lightly. I contemplated for over a year before I decided to make this change. I think it is a much more fitting name and I am satisfied with it; I hope you are too.

For those of you following on bloglovin, google reader, etc, the new links can be found on the right side of the new blog. To keep updated, make sure you follow Storm in a Teacup - it will no longer work to follow Malicious Mallory.

Updates

I've updated the blog design a bit today! What do you think? Any constructive criticism is welcome!

Recently I've begun sewing with my friends, and have made two very cute skirts so far. The big scarf I've been knitting while watching LOST is coming along nicely as well, probably due to the fact that I'm already on season 3 season 4. Considering the literally 100 degree temperatures here right now, you probably won't see that for awhile, but the skirts will probably be making appearances here very soon!

Additionally, expect more creative outfits rather than the boring black skirt + t-shirt combo I wore for much of last year. I'm trying to challenge myself a bit more as far as what I wear, so hopefully there will be some interesting things to see. (I'm even going to try to rock those paisley pants in my closet!) That'll be coming up as soon as I've posted all my old school outfits. Stay tuned!

New header

What do you think of the new picture header?
It's smaller than the old one, which I think is really good.
Opinions?

Thanks for helping / New Cause: Camfed

Sorry for the late change, but thanks for helping earn 3,025 gallons of clean water for charity:water!

The new charity is: Camfed! From the website:
"Camfed is an international organization dedicated to eradicating poverty in Africa through the education of girls and the empowerment of young women."

Please note the gadget to the right of your screen -->
Click on it every time you come to my blog to help provide education to girls and women in need! Every little bit counts! Thank you very much! :)
My goal: 180 days of schooling
That's 1 full school year where I'm from.

(If you have any suggestions for future charities to feature, please let me know in the comments! I will definitely listen to you.)

New Layout!!

What do you think?

New Feature: Cause of the Month

I am a member of Socialvibe.com - which is a site sort of like Myspace, but it helps you raise money for charity for free! It's really cool, and you should check it out. The way that it works is you put a "badge" on your blog, Myspace, Facebook, or any other website, and you get points every time some sees that badge. The points go towards a charity of your choice to get a donation! :)
(Let me know if you join and I'll be sure to add you as a friend! :D)

Anyways, there is a new feature on Blogger which allows you to put a gadget on your blog and have other people help you raise money! :D You just click on the gadget, watch a commercial (or I think you call them "adverts" in Europe, don't you?) and rate it afterwords. It takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes and makes a big difference!

This month, I have chosen charity: water as the cause of the month. Quote from their Socialvibe page:
charity: water is a non-profit providing safe clean drinking water to people in developing nations.
1 in 6 people on the planet don't have clean water to drink. Dirty water and a lack of basic sanitation kills 4,500 children every day. We're trying to change that.
Using photos and videos, we tell stories of people and communities that don't have clean water. We then offer simple ways to help. And 100% of the money we raise directly funds sustainable clean water projects in Africa, South Asia, and Central America. In less than two years, we have funded 633 water projects in 12 countires. Those projects will serve more than 250,000 people with clean water.

The reason I chose charity:water this month is because of their September campaign. For the past two years, in September, charity:water has asked everyone who has a September birthday to give up birthday gifts and instead ask for donations to charity:water.

My birthday is a September birthday, and while I'm not giving up all my gifts, I thought I'd ask you guys to help me celebrate my birthday with a donation! So please check out the gadget to the right of your screen, click on it, and help raise some funds! :D

More info on charity: water can be found at charitywater.org.

P.S. My goal is to donate 100,000 gallons of water by the end of the month! Please help! Come by a few times a day if you can!

My life is over

I'm so serious. I have so much homework - and school has barely started. Plus I don't even get home until 6 or 7, then I have to shower and eat, so I can't even start it until 7 or 8!
Anyways, I don't have a picture of my 2nd day outfit D: but I shall recreate it when I have time and post the picture, because it's a REALLY cute outfit, if I do say so myself.
And I've got one from today, but I haven't uploaded it yet.

I have to take pics in the morning before I leave for school, because I go straight to practice after school and get all icky so I can't take them after. :( But I'm going to do my best to get pics of everything, and post as much as possible here.

Also, construction on the layout should hopefully be happening in a week or two, when I get the chance.

Much love and apologies for the inevitable lack of posts in the future
