More shoes! (Doc Martens again)

Lots of posts today! I just saw these fantastic DMs on eBay, and couldn't resist sharing! I want them more than I want white ones, but I really am not going to pay $200 for them. 100 maybe, but not 200. Aren't they super amazing? I want them so badly!!

I'm also watching these blue ones, but I still want white ones more. If these go cheap enough, I'll get both. :)

A peek into the closet...

I organized my closet a week or two ago, and it's just amazing!! I hadn't been able to see the floor in years. I was just a MESS. I was tired of it. So, three days (not kidding, it took 3 days!!) of extremely tiring work, here is the result! (Actually, these pics are from yesterday, so it's stayed clean too! :) )
It's not huge to begin with. Yes, I have a stereo in my closet. I like it because it records tapes off CDs. I like tapes.
Start off with all my shirts. Organized currently: tank tops and camis to the right, then short sleeve v-neck, short sleeve t-shirts that I care enough about to hang up instead of fold, short sleeve shirts, cardigans and jackets and then long sleeved shirts. When it gets cold I'll rearrange.
My band tee's get a special section, because most of them, like this Dylan Gilbert one, are signed.
Dresses over here... there's a lot packed in there that you can't see,
but I don't have nearly as many dresses as I'd like. I love dresses.
Above the dresses are my bags... They fit up there because I put bags in bags on top of bags. It's hard to get stuff up and down from there without knocking it all over.
This I've used for years to organize my earrings. They're by color then type. Also keep some bracelets and necklaces in there, although the ones I wear a lot usually end up thrown on the desk or the bathroom counter.
And last but not least, shoes! This isn't all of them, some of them are in the kitchen making my parents angry. And some are hidden by the t-shirts. My favorites seen here are the white coasters in the front, the navy satin vans in front of them, and the gray chucks in the corner. I used to dislike lowtops, but I like those a lot. They're torn up though because I skateboarded in them in middle school. (All my chucks are ollld. Those purple ones? They've had mismatch laces since 7th grade. I've still got the other laces, but I'm just too lazy to switch them back, and I still kind of like it.)

So there you have it. My whole wardrobe. I don't have any dressers or anything. It's a little sad, especially considering I dislike most of the stuff in there.

Shoes. Shoes. Shoes. OMG. Shoes.

I have decided that without a pair of white Doc Martens I will surely die. I'm currently watching an ebay auction on them, but if it gets too high I'll have to try another time.
I considered pink or blue, but those are just too difficult to coordinate and I would end up rarely wearing them. I also thought about black, but that's a little bit too dark for me, you know? I like black ones in general, just not for me. Actually, I like almost all Doc Martens in general.

And I was surfing the Urban Outfitters website today too. I saw some shoes I like there as well....

Yes, I know that those are black, but they're not quite as much as DMs are. And I like the striped ones just because they're plain but not plain. Does that make sense at all? Probably not.

I will leave you with this video which I just thought of, that I haven't seen in probably three years. It's about shoes. (There's a little skit at the beginning, if you want to skip it, just go ahead to 1:00) ALSO! There's some profanity. So if you're concerned, I would maybe turn your volume down so it's quieter or something.

The F in Fasting does not stand for Fun

At the very beginning of summer, I did a fast with my friends. We only ate raw foods for 4 days. I could never be a raw vegan, or definitely not a fruitarian. It's just crazy. I mean, it wasn't impossible, it just wasn't pleasant.

Shades - flea market, 25 cents
Dress - Forever 21, $23
Shoes - were my mom's forever ago
Bracelets - made by me
& the necklace that I thought I was wearing doesn't appear to be there...weird. It looked cute, and it only cost me a quarter at the flea market.

As always, click on the picture to see it bigger. & post your comments please! I would love to know what you think, good or bad! Honesty is the key here (and everywhere) Please post your opinions below!! :D

Online Shopping

I have mixed feelings about online shopping. And in order to be a true Gilmore Girls fan, I must explain why using a pro-con list.

PRO's
  • No one else - very few other people will have it
  • You can get stuff cheap
  • It's stuff you couldn't get in the store
CONS
  • You can't try on clothes
  • It can be a hassle to return things, if you can even return them
  • Sometimes just going to the store can get you a better deal on something
See, I want new pants, right? And I was looking online at American Eagle, which I realize isn't the best place to get jeans, but I have a really hard time finding pants that fit, and a friend of mine who is about the same size told me she got a pair there that fits her perfectly. So I found 2 pairs of pants that I want:

The only thing is that they only have my size online. NO stores within 400 miles carry them, according to their online locator thing which is usually pretty accurate in my experience. And I don't even know if the pink would look good on me, you know? I mean, I can always return it, but it's just such a hassle.

Perhaps I'll consult ma mere later... for now I have a birthday party to go to. Speaking of, I had a great time at the beach. The waves were incredibly rough though, never seen anything like it. I almost drowned, I'd say honestly about 20, 25 times. And I did get a little sunburned, but it wasn't bad at all luckily. And my hair is a lot lighter now from the beach water and the sun. It's awesome :)

Outfit posts tomorrow or the next day, at the very latest Saturday. I'm very busy lately. I haven't even had time to work out. :( I'm really behind on my training.
